from Butuan City - daily trips by buses and shuttle vans will take you to Surigao city.

It’s sometimes nice to freely browse on places where some good friends, like the Iriberris of Cantilan, reside. Albeit this site was unexpectedly found, but this brings good memories as back in the summer of 1976, I had the chance to visit and see Cantilan - the market where their pharmacy was; St. Michaels; and that open basketball court where we once played with Dodo, his bro Tinte and some residents. I still hope the fishpond of bangus is still there. That was 33 years ago and this time I believe, the place has greatly developed. I would want to go and visit this memorable place someday. If this is read by either Dodo or Tinte, I just want to have it confirmed if West Pointer Capt. Audrey, being the daughter of Alfonso Iriberri, is their “Nong Boy”.
