CCMCL’s Jumping Salad

 Kinilaw na PASAYAN (shrimps)

Known in CCMCL as "Jumping Salad"

 

Ingredients:

200 grams Fresh catch pasayan or shrimps
½ cup vinegar
50 grams red onion,sliced
50 grams crushed ginger
1/4 cup lime juice or locally known as "Balibajon"
5 grams long sili
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vetsin (optional)

Procedure:

Wash shrimps thoroughly.
In a half-cup of vinegar, mix all; onion, ginger, sili, lemon juice or "Balibajon". Season with salt, vetsin (optional).

Peel shrimps, leaving only the tail or the head segment intact. AYOS!!

kagana e anha sa inyo places but for now etry namu ug himo ang inyo jumping salad…

by the way im sarah an hrm student of fsuu in butuan..i would like to ask what are the other recipes you have..the specialties of your place hope to know the main dishes and desserts…f pwede it is our reseach man gud to find recipes from caragas maded foods,,,plzzzz tanx email me the resipes janekie_18@yahoo.com….
